• Account data — email address and password (hashed) if you register a store account.
• Location data — an approximate location (city or postcode) that you voluntarily enter to find nearby stores. This is stored only in your browser's local storage and is never sent to our servers.
• Usage data — standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) retained for up to 30 days for security and performance monitoring.
• Contact form submissions — your name, email, and message when you use our contact form.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and improve the store directory service.
• To respond to enquiries submitted through the contact form.
• To send transactional emails related to your account (e.g. password reset).
• To detect and prevent abuse or fraudulent activity.

4. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required to keep you signed in to your account (session cookies managed by Supabase). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your browser's local storage is used to remember your last searched location for convenience. You can clear this at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

We use the following third-party services to operate the site:

• FormSubmit — contact form email delivery. See formsubmit.co/privacy.
• Nominatim / OpenStreetMap — used for geocoding location searches. No personal data is transmitted.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party. Data is only shared with the service providers listed above, and only to the extent necessary to operate the site.

7. Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing hello@findyourlgs.com. Server logs are purged after 30 days.
